Robot Bee is a flexi, articulated print in place (95%) model inspired by a bee. It has a flexi abdomen, latching hinged knee joints, ball hinge hip joints, ball and socket neck joint and snap in ball joint wing connectors. It prints in approximately 7 hours on my P1P using a 0.12mm layer height (recommended)

This model works really well with multicolour PLA silk filaments.

Included are .3mf and .stl files.

The model prints as the body abdomen legs and head as one part with the wings printed separately. The whole model is printed on one plate and can be assembled in 1-2 min.

I have found on occasion that the neck ball joint can become a bit loose, if this is the case you can apply a little bit of varnish or tacky glue to the ball.

STL (Stereolithography, filesize: 198 MB), 3MF (3D Manufacturing File, filesize: 43.6 MB)
