Octopus are one of the most unique creatures on our world, inspiring many myths and legends yet haven't really had much representation in games, maybe because the idea of making an octopus is so absurdly complex and out of scope you might just be better off reworking the concept. Designed to be an adaptable and both easy to animate and extremely controllable, it is my desire to see this monster in a game and give octopus some much needed representation!Created as to initially be used in game production as a boss type enemy, the geometry and rig reflects this standard. while initially the large number of bones and complexity may seem to be counter intuitive, this octopus rig is designed to be baked down to 'deform only bones' so when brought into unreal, gadot and/ or unity it is fully optimized while still giving artist full control in the animation phase
