It is the best preserved of Hispania circus and one of the largest in the Roman world. It can not be determined with certainty the date of construction, but must be contemporary of the other two buildings. Just it knows that between 337 and 340 the count Tiberio Flavio Leto and Governor Julius Saturninus reconstructed the circus, according to an inscription preserved in the museum. It is situated on the outskirts of the city, next to Albarregas River Valley, in an area of easy communication and easy access. The gentle slope of the land was used to accommodate part of the grandstand. Its interior is 30,000 square meters; length of 403 meters and width of 96.50 m. Its capacity was approximately 30,000 spectators. It is not located in the exact center of the arena, as the southern corridor is more spacious than the north side. Goals are semicircular.
