Do you have doors in your house that are constantly slammed and opened? Do these doors leave giant dents in your drywall? Have you tried other gadgets to fix this and they failed?

This door stopper absorbs the force of the door knob and distributes it over a larger amount of surface area. It may still dent the wall, but it will do it less in more spots. This is based off designs that are normally used with very large and thick doors.

Print Instructions

  • Material: PLA it will probably hold up, but to be safe and for extra strength you may want to print it in PETG or TPU for elasticities. Of course, this design is built to handle normal amounts of force, subjecting it to anything more than a door slam will probably not end well.
  • Supports: No
  • Orientation: Place the bottom flat on the build surface

Pieces

  • Door knob stopper (included)
  • Screws or mounting tape (in the files the shaft diameter of the required screw is 5 mm and the head diameter is 10 mm with a head thickness of 5 mm) (not included)

Installation

The door stopper screws into the wall with six screws, although not all six screws are needed. If you prefer, you can also use mounting tape to stick this to the wall.
