Asset Breakdown
Here is a simple explanation of what makes this model special and how it is designed:
The Overall Concept This asset is a dilapidated traditional home from the Chinese countryside. It represents an abandoned or war-torn structure, perfect for historical games or post-apocalyptic rural settings.
Rammed Earth Walls The walls are built from packed mud or rammed earth, a traditional construction method. Large sections of the outer plaster have crumbled away, revealing the rough, earthen texture underneath and creating a realistic look of decay.
Collapsed Tiled Roof The roof features classic grey curved tiles, but it is heavily damaged. Massive holes expose the rotting wooden rafters and beams beneath, showing that the building has been neglected for a very long time.
Weathered Timber Structure The wooden skeleton of the house, including the vertical posts and roof support beams, is visible through the broken walls. The wood looks old, grey, and splintered, adding to the structural fragility of the scene.
Scattered Debris At the base of the walls, there are piles of broken tiles and chunks of dried mud. This ground clutter grounds the model in the environment, making it look like the building is slowly falling apart right where it stands.
Technical Notes:
Files Included: FBX, GLB, OBJ, STL, ZIP (Textures). Quick Tip: The Mud Wall Texture is very detailed. Use a Displacement Map or Tessellation in your game engine to make the crumbled holes look deep and 3D, rather than just a flat image.
