Runic Flachion is my first ever created 3d model that was made shortly after I left high school. My goal was to create a fully game ready PBR 3d model of a curved sword. I chose a flachion blade for this and tried to make it look realistic with high quality detailed texture but also with certain fantasy elements, such as the glowing runes. I also focued on the usability in a real game and made it as low poly as possible with maximized UW space.The curved sword was modeled, sculpted and unwrapped in Blender. Textures were created in Substance Painter.
Details:
- Model has 1050 triangles and 560 vertices
- Model is available in FBX, OBJ and DAE formats
- Model is scaled to real world proportions 12cm in width, 4cm in depth and 90cm in height
- Topology is clean and optimized to run smoothly in a game engine
- Model has high quality UW map with no wasted space and consistent texel density on all parts
- Textures are available in 4k, 2k, and 1k resolution for both PBR Metallic/Roughness and Specular/Glossiness workflows also with Directx and OpenGL normal maps. I’ve also included textures optimized for Unreal Engine 4 and Unity 3D
