Asset Breakdown
Here is a simple explanation of what makes this model special and how it is designed:
The Overall Concept This asset is a small, two-story house from the Middle Ages. It is built in the classic half-timbered style, making it perfect for a fantasy RPG village or a historical town scene.
Timber and Plaster Walls The walls are made of a dark wooden frame filled with white plaster (daub). The plaster looks cracked and dirty, while the wood looks rough-hewn and old, adding a lot of realistic texture to the surface.
Overhanging Upper Floor The second story sticks out further than the ground floor. This design, known as jettying, was very common in crowded medieval cities to create more living space upstairs without blocking the street.
Mossy Tiled Roof The steep roof is covered in reddish-brown clay tiles. They are uneven, slightly broken, and covered in patches of green moss, showing that the cottage has stood against the weather for many years.
Stone Foundation Base The house sits on a layer of rough grey stones. This heavy foundation protects the wooden frame from the damp ground and visually anchors the building to the terrain.

Files Included: FBX, GLB, OBJ, STL, ZIP (Textures). Quick Tip: The Windows use a diamond lattice texture. To make them glow at night, create a simple Emission Map that masks just the glass parts yellow or orange, making it look like a candle is burning inside.
