A rusty iron minecart, closely following real world examples of narrow-gauge carts used in old mines. This model has been made for use in game engines or as a prop for detailed renders.

This download includes model formats in glTF, stl, OBJ and .FBX. Textures in 1K, 2K and 4K with each definition having diffuse (colour), AO, diffuse + AO, Roughness, Metallic, Normal and ORM maps. Additionally, the chain element on the side of the cart has its own Diffuse, Roughness, AO, Metallic and ORM materials in the three definitions listed. All in all, this product comes with 26 custom made textures with an additional two combination maps for the gLTF format.

Multiple steps have been taken to achieve a high level of realism while keeping the file size relatively small, all preview images on this page display the model loaded with the 1K Diffuse+AO, Roughness, Metallic and Normal maps to demonstrate this; while holding up visually, the model, when packed to glTF format, only takes 4.36MB of storage.

The underlying mesh has been made low poly and mirrored along its length for further optimisations, subsequently the model UVs have also been mirrored to get the most out of each texture map.
