Rutan VariEze V12 The Rutan VariEze is one of the most popular of the home-built designs.

This aircraft is a sporty modern design using composites, wood, metal and Fiberglas construction. It has a light weight and higher aspect ratio allowing for good climb and glide characteristics. It is fast and is generally faster than most other manufactured aircraft. It is fun to fly and has good handling and maneuverability characteristics.
