3D model descriptionTaurus Aldebaran is one of the 12 Gold Saints in the Saint Seiya series, serving as the guardian of the Temple of Taurus within the Sanctuary.He is a Brazilian-born character, known for his immense physical strength, which made him the strongest of the Gold Saints in the modern era.Standing at 210 cm and weighing 130 kg, Aldebaran is depicted as a large, muscular man with dark brown hair and brown eyes, and he possesses the blood type B.His signature technique is the Great Horn, a powerful attack delivered while in a crossed-arm stance, capable of moving at the speed of light and shattering opponents.He is also known for his friendly and easygoing personality, often contrasting with the more serious demeanor of other Gold Saints.

Aldebaran first appeared in chapter 29 of Masami Kurumada's manga, introduced as a key figure in the battle against the Bronze Saints.During the Sanctuary arc, he faced Pegasus Seiya, Dragon Shiryu, Cygnus Hyoga, and Andromeda Shun. Although he initially overwhelmed them, he allowed them to pass after Seiya broke his helmet's horn, recognizing their strong will and belief in Athena, which led him to question the Pope's authority.He later participated in the battle against Hades, sacrificing himself alongside the other Gold Saints to destroy the Wailing Wall.His death was later reversed when Athena revived him, but he died again during the final battle against Hades.
