Description

Standard sanitary check valve -Tri clamp 1-½"-

Widely utilized in the food industry, especially in filling machines. It works when a low pressure zone (vacuum) is made in the other side of the valve forcing the piston against the spring, allowing the fluid to flow through the valve. When the low pressure zone is ceased, the spring forces the piston against the seal closing the valve.It's entirely made of stainless steel (AISI 316) and food grade elastomer seal (viton, EPDM, etc)
