Sci-Fi Steampunk Mech robot droid, was created in Blender 3.0This is the first time, I have attempted to create this type of complex Sci-Fi model. This project started out, with me just wanting to create some type of scifi orb droid. But then while I was looking at other types of scifi models on Art Station, I got inspired by some of the robotic mech type models.
I didn't know exactly how to begin creating the legs, so what I did was use T-Rex fossil images, specifically side profile of the legs.After finishing the rough model of the bones for the legs, I was stuck for how to proceed. I love Steampunk and have created several Steampunk models and designs, so incorporated gears and a steam tank, I had created in previous projects. I'm definitely happy with how the overall design turned out. I didn't upwrap any of the objects for applying textures.
There are basic solid color materials applied, but the topology of the objects are clean and should be easy to unwrap if you want to apply textures.Files included with purchase:.Blend.FBX.MTL.OBJ.STL
