The operation of this (virtual) unit is based upon the real thing: swipe your (virtual - not needed) key card through the magnetic card reader, which reads information from the card’s magnetic stripe, transmitting it to an access control unit (within). Typically, the keypad offers additional security, wherein the user’s card is swiped, and the correct PIN entered, before access is granted.
Designed to be a realistic, usable, commercial piece, with a metal housing & collapsible touch sensor keypad buttons, with industrial undertones, that will provide any environment requiring security with the most appropriate accent, for enhanced exhibition.
