Marking the first foray into fluted-glass lighting from founders Stephen Alesch and Robin Standefer, the Fluted Glass Seed is an evolution of the best-selling Seed Pendant, a hanging lighting fixture resembling an elongated seed pod that debuted in 2022. The new Fluted Seed lights are blown and sculpted by hand in a multi-generational, family-owned Brooklyn glass studio in two unique tones: pale Aubergine and iridescent Opaline. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, with subtle variations in bubbling, rippling, and finish revealing the touch and technique of the glassblower. A small team of blacksmiths from a 150-year-old Parisian foundry also worked as an extension of Alesch and Standefer’s hand, using ceramic molds to cast the pendant’s canopy in bronze and assembling each link of the hanging chain individually. source:https://www.romanandwilliams.com/
