A bed modelled after the natural design of a clam shell. Several reference images and careful outlines (by hand) were used to achieve realistic looks and dimensions.
I aimed to keep the polygon and vertex count as low as possible, yet also keep the rounded, soft curves that plush pillows and cushions have.
This product includes a download-able .zip folder containing:
- a folder with individual .obj-s for each object in the scene
- a .blend file
- a .obj file (the entire scene)
- a .fbx file
- a .stl file
and,
- a .zip folder for the materials/textures
- the textures are clearly named to match the objects
Objects in the ShellBed scene:
- Bedframe (shellbed subdivided); mattress attached
- Upper Cushion
- Lower Cushion
- Pillows x5
Materials/textures were not exported with the objects. However, each object is UV unwrapped and simple to set up with the PBR extensions within the .zip materials/textures folder. (To clarify, the image textures are lower quality, no greater than 2K resolution, modifications of free-to-download textures from ambientcg and polyhaven.)
