A 3d model of the Skoda Felica from the year 1998 made in blender.

The geometry was created using a subdivision modifier, allowing for a variable mesh resolution.

The model was formerly made for Saltudios' production of the Škatuľka Kriedy short film and used as a digital replacement for a real Skoda Fabia car we had on the set. The textures used on the model are photographs of the real one projected using Blender's UV projection (therefore, UV maps might seem weird).

The car itself is not rigged, yet it is prepared for automatic rigging with the Rigacar addon in Blender - the wheels and the body object are named and car parts are parented so the process is straightforward.
