This 3D model was originally created with Sketchup 8 and then converted to all other 3D formats. Native format is .skp 3dsmax scene is 3ds Max 2016 version, rendered with Vray 3.00 This cottage is a little out of the ordinary... if you download and compare to any of my other models. This old house comes from the old Sears %26 Roebuck line of homes. It is one of their oldest kit models, well over 100 years old. It kind of looks like a house that you would see near the rail yard or something like that. Maybe a tiny urban corner lot? The house I was referencing from actually has tan siding and red trim with a metal roof. I figured this looked a little nicer. I kept all details original to plan, no changes, updates, etc. This house has a very strange layout. You walk in to see a living room and a parlor divided by an archway. Beyond, there is a kitchen (with stove only) and a big pantry. there is a bedroom with a walk-in closet just off of that. Centralized are extremely steep stairs going up to a landing with a bedroom upstairs. It is a pretty good size bedroom with attic access. The basement is accessed from under the stairs. There is also a cellar hatch around the back. One thing to note about this house is that there is NO running water. No sinks... no bathroom... nothing! Crazy right? If you intend to live here, I'd recomend adding a bathroom... somewhere. The chimney is only for the furnace down in the basement. This house would make for a great filler house in your urban/ historic neighborhood. I'd expect that there would be hours of fun doing things with this house. Enjoy and please rate :)
