TM-62M - Soviet anti-tank mine, the main base model of the TM-62 family of mines.Developed in the USSR in the 1960s, later its production was mastered in Bulgaria at the Dunarit enterprise.TM-62M - (the index indicates the material of the case: M-metal, T-fabric, D-wood, B-uncased) anti-tank mine of pressure action. It is used with fuses of the following types: MVCh (mine fuse with a time delay mechanism), MVP (... with a pneumatic deceleration mechanism), MVSh (... with a pin target sensor). An explosion occurs when a tank track or a car wheel hits the top cover of a mine.

The mine was a flat, rounded metal box. An explosive charge was placed inside the box, and a fuse was installed on top. The mine carrying handle is made of braid and is easily removable.

The mine can be installed manually or by means of mechanization.
