Space Patrol was one of the first hit sci-fi series of the then-nascent network television industry of the early 1950s. Set in the 30th century, the show followed the adventures of Captain Buzz Corry and the crew of the Terra V as they fight evil and tyranny as agents of the United Planets Space Patrol.

The hero ship, the Terra V, was a classic winged teardrop that underwent several iterations of the show's six-year run. This is the second version, arguably the most aesthetically pleasing.
