The Space Fighter-190 SW (commonly known as the Space Wolf) is a fictional space fighter designed primarily to combat enemy fighters and gain an advantage in close-quarters space around your own squadron of spaceships. The craft is characterized by considerable maneuverability, a relatively long flight range, and a good top speed. It is armed with a single laser cannon and the so-called Vulcan Cannon. The craft's appearance and design are modeled after the German Fw-190 D-9 fighter plane of World War II. It's worth noting that the Space Wolf is one of Kei Yuki's favorite vehicles. The Space Fighter-190 SW belongs to the universe of the comic book and manga series Captain Harlock aka Albator created by the Japanese artist Leiji Matsumoto. The same author also created the almost cult-classic series Space Battleship Yamato in Japan.
