High Detailed Photorealistic Squirrel; FULLY RIGGED and ANIMATED, UVunwrapped and smoothable, made with Maya. XGEN (CORE) for hair.

This model has a clean geometry based on loops and ‘only’ quads. It is FULLY RIGGED and ANIMATED. It comes with Maya settings for Arnold renderer.

XGEN NOTES:

Xgen (core) has been used for the grooming. If needed each description can be easily translated to Xgen Interactive Spline (IGS) just by a click.

I added a BakedGroomManager modifier to speed up the rendering. To edit the descriptions just uncheck the modifier and proceed normally.

ARNOLD RENDERER NOTE:

The actual rendering settings (AA=6) are for a medium/high quality output (preview images shown above).

It takes about 3 minutes for a 3200×1800 frame (single CPU) – To get better quality images you can increase the Arnold settings up to your machine limit.

RIG & ANIMATION NOTES:

This model is rigged using simple ikHandles and NURBS primitive control objects to help achieve realistic animations of the limbs, joints, and muscles.

The rig in scalable.

Control objects can be easily manipulated through the transform tools to achieve desired animations.

-Running animation is included (moving forward and in place)
