My fanmade 3D model of the Excelsior II-Class starship seen in Star Trek: Picard Season 2.

An upgrade to the classic Excelsior-Class that long served through nearly two centuries, the Excelsior II was brought on at the denouement of the 24th and dawn of the 25th century as a new iteration of that design. Featuring modern sensor strips and more contemporary nacelles, this class of ship was first seen in Star Trek: Picard Season 2's opening episode, The Star Gazer, and the season featured two ships of this class meeting the Borg Singularity ship, the USS Excelsior and Eureka. The Excelsior II-Class was designed by John Eaves and Doug Drexler.
