My fanmade 3D model of the Malachowski-Class starship seen in Star Trek: Discovery Season 1.

In service to the Federation Starfleet in the mid 23rd century, the Malachowski-Class was one of the smaller designs of the era. It was laid out mostly like a traditional Starfleet design, but without a secondary hull. It was sleek and nimble and saw service during the Klingon War, serving as a frigate and light cruiser. It also bore similarity to certain future starship designs, such as the Miranda-Class in the late 23rd century and the Centaur-Class in the 24th century. It was designed as part of the Starfleet Armada in Star Trek: Discovery's introductory episodes - The Vulcan Hello and Battle at the Binary Stars - by John Eaves.
