A steel prop, also known as an adjustable steel prop or acrow prop, is a temporary structural support device commonly used in construction and renovation projects. Its primary purpose is to provide temporary support to vertical loads, such as beams, slabs, walls, and ceilings during construction, maintenance, or repair work. Steel props are adjustable in length, which makes them versatile and suitable for various applications.
