The Syndec Industries Fleet Carrier is a long range transport ship, designed to support a group of small spacecraft on deep space missions.

It is designed to act as a mobile station for the small craft to refuel, replinish, and repair when outside of the range of standard stations.

It is equipped with an Alcubierre Drive, allowing faster than light travel, that most small craft are not designed to support. Because of this, and its ability to harbor small craft, the Hegemony of Terra commisioned the craft to be prodeuces en masse for its Defense fleets, to allow quick response to anywhere in the Galaxy
