This model has been inspired by the infamous Russian T-72 Turtle Tank, seen in Ukraine.
The model consists of 8 objects, intended for easier rigging:
- Tracks x2
- Wheels x2
- Main body
- Turret
- Hatch1
- Hatch2
The model itself was done in such a way to be suitable for easy rigging and animating. This means that the parts that are usually animated are separate objects (except for the wheels, they're all one object).
To change the texture (in Blender) all you have to do is select a different texture under the Skin material.
This model does not have a modelled interior.
The T-72 is a Soviet-designed main battle tank that entered service in the early 1970s. Renowned for its robust armor, powerful 125mm smoothbore gun, and relatively low production costs, the T-72 has been widely exported and used in numerous conflicts around the world. Its design emphasizes simplicity and reliability, making it effective in a variety of combat scenarios despite being less technologically advanced than some Western counterparts. Over the years, it has undergone various upgrades to enhance its capabilities and survivability.
