An elegant tensegrity structure consisting of four 3D printed parts joined together in two places to form the upper and lower frames. The two joints are comprised of 4 each 25mm long 1/16” steel guide rods for alignment (optional) and super glue. The cables are standard pull chains with connectors or any suitable string with knotted ends can be used. The chain ends can also be pinned in place using 25mm long 1/16" steel rods instead of the standard chain connectors.
Overall size is 15.2 cm W x 18.2 cm D x 21.6 cm H (6.0” W x 7.2” D x 8.5” H).
3D model was created with BlocksCAD software.
Structure pictured was printed using ERYONE Silk Tri Color PLA – Jewel Color & Orange Red & Gold.
Parts printed on an ELEGOO Neptune 4.
