The island of Murano is famous for its long glassmaking tradition. You can learn more about them at the Glass Museum. Another attraction of the island is the Cathedral of Santa Maria e Donato with colorful mosaic floors, which, according to legend, contains dragon bones. In addition, there are many souvenir shops on the island. You can get to Murano by ferry.
