This model comes from a design competition in which I did not advance to the final round.I created this piece inspired by sea otters, which help preserve and protect the marine ecosystem and seaweed. I really liked this concept, so I combined it with Chinese beliefs about good fortune — incorporating auspicious colors and symbolic elements — to create an art toy that can be collected as a charm for luck and positivity in life.
