Asset Breakdown
Here is a simple explanation of what makes this model special and how it is designed:
The Overall Concept This asset is a beautifully preserved traditional East Asian residence (resembling a Japanese Minka or Korean Hanok). It is designed as a peaceful home, a countryside dojo, or a historical tea house, perfect for adding cultural depth to your game world.
Sweeping Curved Roof The roof is massive and elegant, featuring the gentle curves typical of Asian architecture. Its dark, matte finish contrasts with the lighter walls below, and the wide eaves provide plenty of shade and protection for the porch.
Raised Wooden Veranda The house sits on a raised platform supported by small pillars, keeping it off the ground. A beautiful wooden deck (or engawa) wraps around the front, enclosed by a simple railing, offering a perfect spot for characters to sit and enjoy the view.
Timber & Plaster Walls The walls are constructed with a classic timber frame design. Dark brown wooden beams create a grid pattern against clean white plaster panels, giving the building a striking and highly readable visual rhythm.
Lattice Doors & Windows The entrance and windows feature intricate wooden lattice grids (resembling shoji screens). These details suggest light, sliding doors that blur the line between the interior and the exterior nature.
Technical Notes
Files Included: FBX, GLB, OBJ, STL, ZIP (Textures). Quick Tip: For the White Wall Panels, use a slightly rough Concrete or Plaster normal map to keep them from looking like smooth plastic. The Lattice Windows look great with a Subsurface Scattering effect if you want them to look like paper.
