This data is based on actual houses built in 1904.Houses in Kyoto (called ”Machiya') are built in rows of several long houses with deep recesses, and are known as 'eel beds' or the like.In Japanese houses, people take their shoes off for everyday living, but in this house, 'Doma' a space where people put on their shoes to cook and work, is connected from the front of the house to the back.
The modelling is based on an actual house and can be used for backgrounds, etc., as the interior and back of the house are also made.
