3ds Max 2016. V-Ray 5. File formats obj, fbx without fur. Tricolor Cowhide Rug #A27043. The scene contains two objects: the rug and splines (hair_spline). Hair_splines are in box mode to prevent interface lag. To view splines, select hair_spline, right-click, choose object properties from the dropdown menu, and uncheck display as box. If the fur is not scaled correctly, in the hair and fur settings, open the tools scroll and activate Recomb From Splines and specify spline_hair, and the fur will adjust to the correct size. If the size is correct, hair_spline can be deleted. Before rendering, go to the Rendering - Effects tab, click Hair and Fur and select mr prim mode below.
