3ds Max 2016. V-Ray 5. File formats obj, fbx without fur. Tricolor Cowhide Rug #A27079. The scene contains two objects: the rug and splines (hair_spline). Hair_spline are in box mode to maintain interface performance. To view splines, select hair_spline, right-click, choose object properties, and uncheck display as box. If fur is not scaled correctly, in hair and fur settings, enable tool scroll and activate Recomb From Splines, specifying spline_hair for proper scaling. Once scaling is correct, hair_spline can be deleted. Before rendering, go to Rendering - Effects, click Hair and Fur, and select mr prim mode. If issues with fur rendering arise, contact me for assistance. Size: 186x185cm. Fur amount is set to 500,000 for close-ups; reduce for medium and distant shots to 100-200k, adjusting fur thickness for weaker computers. Geometry conversion and proxy creation are also viable options. System units are in mm.
