TriviaThe Chinese WZ752 Ambulance is an armoured medical evacuation vehicle based on the hull of the ZSD89 (Type 89) APC. Developed in the early 1990’s, the vehicle uses a raised superstructure and can accommodate two medical staffs plus four stretchers, or eight ambulatory patients. The vehicle also carries an on-board oxygen production unit as well as other patient support equipment for en-route treatments to a ‘behind the lines’ medical station for further treatment.
