This printable U15 Hopper model and H7A Hopper in HO 1:87 scale just needs trucks and couplers. Also included are N scale 1:160 files that can be scaled up if you want a heftier file with thicker walls. These hoppers have been hauling aggregate, sand, coal, and phosphate since the 1960s by Atlantic Coast Line, Seaboard, Seaboard Coast Line, Family Lines, Seaboard System, and CSX. The HO model consists of two STL files: the car body and a coupler box cover. Included is a Sketchup file. The Sketchup file is water tight, print ready, and can be edited and rescaled. Note that the scaling in the Sketchup file is ten times larger than the scale size due to Sketchup performing poorly at tiny scales. An updated more detailed HO version of the U15 and H7A hoppers has been added mid 2024. Also, a PDF file is included with HO vector art to use as a guide for decals. The HO scale body measures 139mm in length. Best suited for resin printing.
