Description
Printable, WWII USAAF/USAF Fighter pilot designed to fit the Revell 1/32 P-51 model kit, that should fit in any US Fighter.Optional one piece figure, or with separate arms, with left hand on throttle or giving thumbs up. Goggles, up or down. Mask on or off. Seat harness suitable for most bucket seats on or off. Head straight or turned to the left.

IMPORTANT PRINTING TIPSModel is made 1:1 scale, using metric. The actual size of the model as it is oriented on loading, is X: 0.8737m, Y: 1.1898m, Z: 1.0949m
Depending on your software, it may be scaled down by 1000, ie load as 1m=1mm. This will be obvious, since the item will be tiny on the print bed.
Most slicers allow uniform scaling, or Lock Ratio in the Scale tool. Just select the scale tool, make sure that option is selected, and enter To get the scale you require, the real world size is divided by the scale. So for a 1/32 figure, you divide the dimension by 32 and using that in the scale of your slicer software. For this model X is 0.8737/32 = 0.027303
Using Chitubox, the object comes in as 1m = 1mm, therefore you multiply by 1000 to get the correct dimension. X=27.303mm.The size you enter for X = 27.30mm, since it only uses 2 decimal places. The % scale is 3131%For a 1/48 scale print, use X=18.20For a 1/72 scale print, use X=0.87 (a little small, but it should still print in resin).
Once your scale is correct, you can go about orienting the model as required for printing. For a resin printer, reclining the figure to reduce overall height will save printing time. Detail levels should be high, and smoothing/anti-aliasing low.
