I created this viking ship using Blender 2.93.0. I used some 2d images as references.
About Viking Ship -
- Vikings used longships to make raids and carry their warriors.
- Often, the prow (front) of the ship was decorated with a carving of an animal head – perhaps a dragon or a snake. The ship's dragonhead was a visual message about the owner's status. The dragon was most likely thought to convey the ideas of strength and bravery.
- Viking sails were roughly square shaped and made of wool dyed in bold colors or stripes to signify ownership, group identity, and status. They had a single sail in the centre of the boat, often shown striped in red and white.
- Viking ships also had oars. A steering oar or 'steerboard' was used to steer the ships.
