A large vintage frame and panel door with a beautiful brass handle. Typically you would find these doors in old upper class houses.
Optimized geometry for good quality renders. No n-gons, no non-planar polygons. Everything is structured nicely, so that opening the door or rotating the handles just works (at least in Blender). Some inner details are modeled. The lock plate extends into the door for example, but there is no real lock mechanism. The model is made purely for visualization.
Blender file includes basic modifiers (bevel mainly), which are applied for exported meshes.
No UVs, no textures.
Structure
- 37 single objects (frame, door, handles, lock plate, handle plate, hinges, lock, latch bolt, lock bolt, screws...)
- All flathead screws are independent objects and can be rotated out of line to simulate lazy craftsmanship
- Everything is parented correctly (latch bolt parented to lock parented to door parented to frame)
- Everything is named properly
Dimensions
The door is 96 by 206cm, the frame is 122 by 220cm.
Features
- Highpoly model, suitable for fairly closeup shots
- Origins in correct positions
- Good model hierarchy
File Formats
- BLEND file (native)
- FBX file
- OBJ and MTL files
- STL file
