Asset Breakdown
Here is a simple explanation of what makes this model special and how it is designed:
The Overall Concept This asset is a skeletal lighthouse, a design often used in the late 19th century. Instead of a solid stone tower, it uses a lightweight metal frame, making it perfect for remote reefs or industrial harbors.
Open Lattice Framework The main structure is built from red iron beams bolted together in a crisscross pattern. This open design allows strong winds and waves to pass right through the tower without knocking it over.
External Spiral Staircase A winding metal staircase wraps around the central core of the tower. It climbs all the way from the ground to the top platform, adding a complex and visually interesting path for players to look at.
Weathered Red Paint The entire structure is painted a striking industrial red. The texture is heavily detailed with rust spots and grime, showing that the metal has been exposed to salty sea air for a very long time.
Central Cylinder Core Running up the middle of the frame is a solid red pipe or tube. In real lighthouses, this tube often held the weights that powered the rotating lens mechanism or protected the fuel lines.
