The Virgin of the moon is very common in the folklore of my country (Spain) the best known is located in the Sanctuary of La Jara, near the towns of Villanueva de Córdoba and Pozoblanco. This representation may be simpler than the usual ones, but I wanted to do something that represented the simplicity and at the same time the greatness of the mother of God.
