The basket is handwoven by natives of Colombia. This product celebrates and preserves artisan handcrafting traditions around the world. These unique baskets are hand woven from indigenous sisal grass in rural Colombia by women working as part of an incredibly creative weaving group. These basket weavers enjoy complete artistic freedom to select the patterns and colors that best showcase their own exceptional talents, empowered by the pay and the flexibility that basket weaving brings. Each basket is her own work of art before it becomes yours and there is only one of each design available.
