Description

Historical insight :
Fort-Louvois originally named Fort-Chapus is one of the numerous forts built by Vauban in the late XVIIth century to protect the shores and military harbors of France against English and Dutch attacks. Built on a rock near La Rochelle, Fort-Louvois is composed of a lower battery platform, and a higher battery tower, which allowed defenders to shoot the crew of attacking enemy ships from above with musketry or light cannons.

The model :
Composed of various sub-objects, it loads with 4 different 4096*4096 and 3 2048*2048 diffuse and normal maps. I have put all the textures in a separate folder to avoid too high download time. A readme with how to unpack the textures for them to load correctly with the various versions of the model is included.
The model was created in Lightwave, UV-mapped and textured in 3D-Coat.

The water plane is not included in the model.
