Yellowstone Lake is the largest lake in Yellowstone National Park. It is located at an elevation of 2,356 meters above sea level. Its water surface area is 350 square kilometers (135 square miles), and its shoreline is 177 kilometers (111 miles). The lake's average depth is approximately 43 meters (143 feet), with a maximum depth of 122 meters (400 feet).
