Mauser 87 is a weapon produced by the German Empire specifically for the Ottoman Empire. It is known among the public as the Mauser. It is the classic army equipment of the Ottoman army. A total of 730,000 were ordered. It was used on all fronts where the Ottomans fought. The Ottoman Empire ordered these weapons from Germany along with the army reform. The Ottomans also received different models of the same brand from Germany.
