This model has been inspired by the famous Soviet BTR-80.

Because of a long list of operators, a decision has been made to include not one but two different textures for this model. These textures resemble the following operators:

  • Russian Armed Forces

  • Ukrainian Armed Forces

The model itself was done in such a way to be suitable for easy rigging and animating. This means that the parts that are usually animated are separate objects (turret, cupola, wheels).

To change the texture (in Blender) all you have to do is select a different texture under the Skin material.

This model does not have a modelled interior.

The BTR-80 is a versatile and widely used armored personnel carrier (APC) that originated in the Soviet Union. Designed for troop transport, the BTR-80 combines mobility, firepower, and protection. It features a six-wheeled chassis, providing excellent off-road capabilities, and is equipped with a powerful engine to ensure rapid deployment of infantry.
