My clothes and hanger always got blown away by strong wind due to staying in high rise apartment. This clip serves as a tool to snap onto a rod diameter of about 25mm. It helps to keep the hanger in place and secure. Been using it for 3 years without fail. There are 2 versions, one is a 10mm diameter hole while the other version is a slot.
