Polyester Finn Class centerboard designed by Richard Sarby in 1949. Olympic class from 1952. This model reproduces a recently-built Finn. Accompanying file contain sail PSD textures for easy sail customization.

-Ready to render .

-The different parts of the model are correctly named and classified

- Model at real world scale ( length : 4,50 meters ) at center of the scene

- ANIMATED VERSION AVAILABLE ON TURBOSQUID : Product ID 2499619

ACCOMPANYING FILE (—-> see specific thumbnail )

- PSD files ( base color and transmission) to customize the sail ( To easily change country, number and sails label )

- Textures for fbx and obj files

THUMBNAILS

- Thumbnails rendered with Cycles

- The rendering scene for this product corresponds to the first thumbnail.

GEOMETRY/TOPOLOGY

- Subdividable for most parts

- Low poly geometry smoothed with Subdivision Surface Modifier (hull, deck, centerboard, mast, rudder, sail and a few other parts)

- Subdivision not applied ( reversible for more easy customization and modification )

- 180 polygons for the hull, 3734 for the deck

- most parts of the model can be subdivided for close-up

UVs ( —-> see specific thumbnail )

- most parts are unwrapped

MATERIALS

- Except sail and screens console, materials use procedural textures (base color, roughness, bump). This makes it easier to customize the model.

FBX/OBJ

- Files come from Blender 4.4.3

- Same low poly geometry ( subdivision level 0 )

- It is essential to subdivide ( level 2 or 3 ) hull, deck, centerboard, mast, rudder, sails, extenders, to obtain an attractive appearance .

- Textures must be downloaded from accompanying file and mapped. If textures and fbx/obj files are in the same folder as your project, baseColor should be correctly applied on sail
