Built around reactor systems powerful enough to sustain entire forward operating bases, the Cataclysm Configuration channels that output into two purposes - annihilation and annihilation at different ranges. One arm carries a high-cyclic rotary cannon capable of stripping infantry formations down to silence in a single sustained burst. The other mounts a directed-energy siege weapon designed not to penetrate armor but to unmake it - molecular cohesion surrendering under focused thermal bombardment. Together, they create a kill-corridor that nothing enters and nothing crosses.
But the Cataclysm is more than its guns. The towering shoulder reliquaries - each bearing dozens of devotional candles lit by attending serfs before deployment - mark this chassis as a walking shrine. Chains of consecration bind the sarcophagus. A battle-worn tabard hangs from the waist plating, heavy with campaign dust and gunsmoke. This is not a machine piloted by a warrior. This is a warrior who became a machine and kept his faith.
Standing taller than most walkers fielded by the Human Empire, the Imperial Siege Dreadnought in Cataclysm Configuration does not breach fortifications. It replaces them - walking through the gap it made and becoming the new terrain feature the enemy must now plan around. Commanders do not deploy it alongside assault forces. They deploy assault forces alongside it.
