Incheon International Airport is the largest in South Korea, one of the largest in the world. It was built 70 km from the capital of the country - the city of Seoul. The airport was opened in 2001 for the World Cup and replaced Gimpo Airport, which now operates only domestic and charter flights to Tokyo, Shanghai and Osaka.
