Inspired from Hindustan Bedford and Tata Mercedes models from 1950s-70s. These designs were hybrid of trucks where the driver cabin was extended to passenger cabin after removing the trailer sharing a common chassis. The body was made of wood covered with tin sheets for water proofing.
The specific model (1210) used to ply in the city of Shillong (Meghalaya) and its hilly surroundings whereby only a couple of them are running now connecting small villages and towns. Locally called Bossmit
This project was done as a case study to preserve memories of the abandoned model as well as contribute to the archives.
Individual vertical window slides that can be animated
Front wheels are adequately spaced for steering rotation
Rear rack can be animated for open/close motion
4k textures attached for further scaling and optimisation as per requirement
4096x4096 px texture size
Chassis suspension and rear wheel shafts modelled for animation
Unique piece due to it's native characteristics
PC Game ready with optimised modelling
Pivots centered for better locomotion and scaling in scene
Not a 1:1 model and no brandings in texture for freedom of use
